Overview
SingleStore Helios is a fully managed, distributed SQL database that unifies transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) workloads with native vector search in a single engine, eliminating the data movement and pipeline complexity of maintaining separate operational and analytical systems. Built on a cloud-native, lock-free architecture, Helios delivers millisecond query response at scale, ingesting millions of events per second while simultaneously serving complex analytical and AI workloads to tens of thousands of concurrent users. The platform's Aura Intelligence layer adds an Analyst feature for natural-language querying against live data and a Context Engine that gives AI agents a shared map of schema and data relationships, reducing token spend and improving answer accuracy for agentic and RAG-style applications. Helios is MySQL wire-compatible and supports relational, JSON, time-series, full-text search, and geospatial data models within one platform.

Supported Cloud Infrastructure
SingleStore Helios is natively available as a managed service on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, selectable by region at deployment. A Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) option extends the fully managed Helios experience into a customer's own VPC on these same providers. SingleStore Helios does not currently offer a native managed listing on Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, or Tencent Cloud. Customers running workloads on those platforms can still connect to Helios over the network as an external database, but should not expect a marketplace-native deployment path on those providers.
Free Trial
SingleStore offers two free entry points rather than a single fixed-duration trial. The Free Shared Tier is available indefinitely at no cost, intended for evaluation, development, and non-production prototyping, and does not consume credits. Customers who want to evaluate a production-grade Standard Edition workspace are provisioned with an initial grant of free credits, reported at $500 at time of writing, to cover compute and storage usage during evaluation. Standard Edition trial workspaces are subject to an inactivity policy: workspaces with no query activity for two days receive a warning, and workspaces suspended for 30 consecutive days are automatically terminated. Customers needing an extended or POC-scale evaluation beyond the free credit grant should contact SingleStore support or sales directly.
