Qualys VMDR is a cloud-native SaaS platform, delivered from Qualys' own global cloud infrastructure and accessed through a browser, with lightweight Cloud Agents deployed to the assets being monitored. As an asset- and workload-level security tool rather than an infrastructure product itself, VMDR can discover and assess workloads running on AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, and Tencent Cloud, alongside on-premises and hybrid environments.
