Elastic Cloud (Free Trial)
Elastic Cloud is the official managed service for Elasticsearch, delivering search, observability, and security on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. A 14-day free trial needs no credit card; a 7-day trial is available through AWS Marketplace.
Product Description
Overview
Elastic Cloud is the official managed service for Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack, run by Elastic, the company behind Elasticsearch. It delivers search, observability, and security solutions, along with a production-ready vector database for AI applications, without the operational work of running clusters. Customers can choose Elastic Cloud Hosted, where they deploy and scale clusters on the cloud provider of their choice, or Elastic Cloud Serverless, which handles version upgrades, sharding, and scaling automatically. Elastic Cloud supports search applications, log and metrics analytics, application and infrastructure observability, and security analytics.
Highlights
Search, observability, and security solutions on one platform, plus a vector database for AI applications
Elastic Cloud Serverless, a fully managed option with no nodes to size and usage-based billing
Elastic Cloud Hosted, with subscription tiers from Standard to Enterprise and deployment on the cloud provider of your choice
Robust APIs and language clients, with data access through the Elasticsearch Query Language (ES|QL)
Built-in monitoring with AutoOps, and machine learning for anomaly detection
OpenTelemetry support for observability data
Purchase directly from Elastic or through the AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure marketplaces, so spend can count toward cloud commitments
Supported Cloud Infrastructure
Elastic Cloud is available as a managed service on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, and can be purchased directly from Elastic or through the AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure marketplaces. Elastic Cloud is not offered natively on Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, or Tencent Cloud. On Alibaba Cloud and Tencent Cloud, Elastic works with the providers on their own Elasticsearch services (Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch and Tencent Cloud Elasticsearch Service), and Huawei Cloud offers its own Cloud Search Service built on open-source Elasticsearch. These are separate, provider-operated products and are not covered by this free trial. Procurement for this SKU is transacted through the reseller.
Free Trial
Elastic offers a 14-day free trial of Elastic Cloud that starts when the organization is created, with no credit card required to sign up. The trial includes one hosted deployment and three Serverless projects, and some trial limitations apply. Customers who subscribe through AWS Marketplace receive a 7-day free trial covering a single deployment and three projects, after which usage-based billing to the customer’s AWS account begins unless the resources are deleted. At the end of a direct trial, deployments and projects are suspended rather than deleted. The customer then has 30 days to subscribe, after which the deployment, projects, and ingested data are permanently deleted. Adding a payment method at any point during the trial converts it to a paid subscription immediately, with billing from that moment, and a direct trial can instead be upgraded to a marketplace subscription. Continued use after the trial requires a paid subscription, as Elastic Cloud has no permanent free hosted tier. Trial extensions have been available on request, and their current terms should be confirmed with Elastic.
