Product Description
InterSystems® is a data technology company focused on solving complex challenges in scalability, interoperability, and performance, offering its market-leading InterSystems OMOP service through the AWS Cloud Marketplace.
InterSystems OMOP is a lightweight, cloud-based data pipeline and management solution that combines standard FHIR® data from EHR systems with InterSystems’ built-in transformations to the OMOP Common Data Model (CDM), delivered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) OMOP repository. This approach enables organizations to leverage the global OHDSI community and tools to accelerate and expand clinical research.
Built on InterSystems IRIS for Health, InterSystems OMOP supports large-scale research and patient data management by providing efficient, scalable access to EHR data through standard Bulk FHIR capabilities. EHR data can be refreshed as frequently as nightly, ensuring repositories stay up to date with newly eligible patient records. Rapid deployment allows teams to spin up a complete OMOP environment with OHDSI tools in minutes on AWS, supporting faster trial recruitment, more timely research insights, and reduced operational overhead.
The solution includes out-of-the-box, no-code transformations from FHIR to the OMOP CDM, helping convert EHR data into research-ready datasets while significantly lowering ETL development and maintenance costs. Built-in data quality dashboards and metrics continuously monitor incoming data, allowing issues to be identified and corrected early in the pipeline.
