Overview
InterSystems FHIR Transformation Service is a fully automated, serverless cloud solution that converts healthcare data formats—starting with HL7v2—into FHIR® to populate Amazon HealthLake, enabling large-scale storage, querying, and analysis of health data.

The service uses InterSystems’ pre-built transformation logic to reliably deliver FHIR resources to Amazon HealthLake through a single, centralized interface. This interface allows users to configure transformation pipelines, monitor message volumes and errors, and inspect how HL7 segments and fields map to FHIR resource elements.

Supporting a broad range of HL7v2 message types out of the box, the service is designed for fast onboarding and flexible usage. Pricing is message-based with no long-term commitments: the first 10,000 HL7 messages are free, followed by $100 per additional one million messages.
